Hope Church is a young, exciting church in West Pearland. Our vision is to equip our church to transform our community to glorify God. What does that look like? We are committed to bringing God's best to your family. We know that since Jesus Christ said, "I have come that you might have life, and have it more abundantly," a life filled with purpose, satisfaction, and assurance can be the norm. This kind of life isn't something we can earn or deserve, but something that God is clearly willing to give to those who ask in faith. We believe that as God's grace and truth affect our lives, we in turn should take that grace and truth to others around us. So, we place a premium on equipping folks for their own impact. People never find more joy and satisfaction than when they are using their gifts and resources to serve others! Come and see us, and be a part of what God is doing in West Pearland and beyond through this exciting church!

“We are not saved by the love we exercise, but by the love we trust.” - Richard Lovelace We must be serious, trustworthy, and intentional with our relationships. To stir one another up to love and good works is not something that happens on its own, it is an active process in our daily lives. Consider how you can care for others and encourage them today.
To all the Moms, and the Moms at heart, Happy Mother’s Day! May you have a blessed day.
“... the first four words of the Bible may be its most important words: “In the beginning, God . . .” These are four thunderously important words. They really do change everything, from the way that you think about your identity, meaning, and purpose to the way that you approach even the most incidental of human duties. Everything that was created was made by God and for God. All the glories of the created world were designed to point to His glory. The universe is His, designed to function according to His purpose and plan. That includes you and me. We were not made to live independent, self-directed lives. We were not meant to exist according to our own little self-oriented plans, living for our own moments of glory. No, we were created to live for Him.” - Paul Tripp
"But the angel answered and said to the women, 'Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.' So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word." —Matthew 28:5-8
It’s Palm Sunday🙌🏼✝️ “Hosanna in the highest” appears only twice in the Bible, once in Matthew and again in Mark, during the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. ... The NIV translates their shout as “Hosanna in the highest Heaven!” The word hosanna comes from a Hebrew word meaning “save now” or “save us, we pray.” Come join us as we lift our voices to the God Most High!
It’s that time of year again! Set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed.
On Sunday, February 24th, Hope Church ARP had the blessing of installing Rev. Marty Taylor as our pastor. We are so blessed to have Marty, and his lovely bride Ellen, come all the way from Charolette, North Carolina to Pearland, Texas. Marty has been a gift from God to us and we are so thankful he agreed to shepherd our church. We look forward to seeing what the Lord has in store for Hope Church.
Join us this Sunday as we remember the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior.
“Here’s the bottom line. The Christian life, the church, our faith are not about us, they’re about him - his plan, his kingdom, his glory.” - Paul David Tripp Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to your name give glory, for the sake of your steadfast love and your faithfulness! - Psalm 115:1
“Lord, I worry because I forget your wisdom. I resent because I forget your mercy. I covet because I forget your beauty. I sin because I forget your holiness. I fear because I forget your sovereignty. You always remember me. Help me to remember you. Amen...” - Timothy Keller

Thought for the day... Mercy - kindness or help given to people who are in a very bad or desperate situation. (Webster's dictionary) Grace - (transitive verb) to decorate or add beauty to something. (Webster's dictionary) Without Christ we are all in a desperate situation. But with Christ in our lives, we are graced (or adorned) by the beauty of the Cross and the sacrifice of Christ that He made there. Who in your life needs the Mercy and Grace of Christ right now? “Answer me, O LORD, for your steadfast love is good; according to your abundant mercy turn to me.” Psalm 69:16 “And the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.” John 1:14

Our Sunday of Serving was dedicated to the Women's Center of Brazoria County. We made bags of necessity items with handmade cards and a Bible for 48 women. We also made bags for children with some blankets and other goodies. Our prayer is that in their moment of despair, God's love will give them Hope.
